The sweet sound of the violin accompanied by the piano came together as the Mei Duo performed their rendition of Amy Beach’s work at Scripps College last Friday.

Faculty members from Pomona College, Scripps College and Cal Arts formed a quartet and performed classical string music to a diverse audience of children and adults on April 6 in Balch Auditorium at Scripps College.

The extraordinary classical sounds of Ludwig van Beethoven and Sergei Prokofiev were alive and thriving in Claremont.
