Gary Mitchell feeds his goats Gaia and Calliope carrots, one of their favorite vegetables, at Planet Rehab in San Dimas. Francis Perez and Nevaeh Acosta, residents of Covina, were surprised by the hospitality of the animals Sept. 10 at the Los Angeles County Fair’s petting zoo, during the Fair’s La Verne and San Dimas Community Day.
