After being named the Division III West Region Female Athlete of the Year, placing 17th overall at the NCAA championships and breaking several school records, senior Lenore Moreno has yet to feel the end of her collegiate cross-country career.

More than 100 spectators rushed to the final straightaway, making sure they witnessed senior Lenore Moreno finish first for La Verne at the 2012 SCIAC Cross Country Championships at Prado Park in Chino Saturday.

Senior Sydney Rose sprints to the finish line finishing with a 27:19 race time at the SCIAC Multi-Dual Meet in La Mirada Friday.
