At most colleges and universities, gyms and workout rooms are open for most of the day for the students to use at any time. However, the University of La Verne is not most colleges and universities, as the gym and workout room hours are minimal.

Far fewer students receive Federal Work- Study and less are able to work in the various departments that hire student workers. We believe ULV should fund the former Work-Study jobs, so students have better chance at affording their four-year education.

Although the University of La Verne provides an intimate atmosphere and great relationships between students and faculty, student life on campus leaves something to be desired. During the weekend there are limited number of on-campus activities.
