Career Services Staff

Paula Verdugo, Director
A graduate of La Verne's master's program in counseling, Paula has served in Career Services for over 8 years. She has a diverse background in a variety of career fields, including human resources, finance, government, non-profits and education, and knows firsthand how to handle issues in changing careers and helping students and alumni remain relevant in dynamic professional world.

Laura Igram Edwards, Assistant Director
With a master's degree in education and student affairs, Laura brings to Career Services a broad knowledge of student service departments, including housing, new student orientation, women's resource center, international students and volunteer services. Her personal and professional experience in these areas give her a special understanding for the needs of busy student leaders on campus. She has been a member of Career Services' staff for one year.  

Susie Haynes, Administrative Assistant
Susie manages Career Services' student workers and busy office environment. With her background customer service, she brings an efficiency and positive attitude that helps keep the staff on track and providing best possible service for students and alumni. She has also been a member of Career Services' staff for one year.
