Curriculum Lab

Welcome to the Curriculum Lab

The Curriculum Lab opened on February 12, 2001 after two years of planning and preparation. A collaborative panel of both faculty and students worked toward the goal of creating a lab that would meet and exceed the needs of the University of La Verne’s Education and Liberal Arts students. The result is a central location that combines the qualities of a materials center, mini-library, and idea center. The closest lab of its kind, on a university campus, is in Indiana.

The Curriculum Lab’s number one goal is to keep up-to-date and to provide students with the materials and equipment they need to be the teachers they want to be. Your suggestions are always welcome! Give them in person, or email the lab

We ask that each student sign in when they enter the lab, even if the visit is only for a brief period of time. By providing proof of the lab’s use and importance, we can continue to provide services and remain in operation.

When in the lab, remember to check the bulletin board for current information on field-related lectures, classes, and general education department information. The Curriculum Lab includes some of the following items:

  • Ellison die cutters with over 350 die cuts currently available
  • VariQuest Cut-out Maker (electronic die-cut machine)
