Dr. Agnes Bertiz curates Pacific Asia exhibition

Dr. Agnes Bertiz, Adjunct Instructor of Art History, and her colleague Dr. Pearlie Baluyut, guest co-curated The (Dis)Embodied Filipina: Fashioning Domesticity, Weaving Desire at the Pacific Asia Museum in Pasadena. This exhibition, running through February 8, 2010, uses costume and text to juxtapose two portraits of early to mid-20th century Filipina: civilized and wild.
