Dr. Heidy Contreras receives American Physiological Society Award

Dr. Heidy L. Contreras, Assistant Professor in the Department of Biology, was awarded an American Physiological Society’s (APS) Research Recognition Award from the Comparative and Evolutionary Physiology Section of the APS. The award is in recognition of meritorious research by young investigators within the field of Comparative and Evolutionary Physiology. Dr. Contreras, along with two other scientists, were honored with the award during the Comparative and Evolutionary Physiology Section Business Dinner at this year’s Experimental Biology meeting in San Diego, California.
