What: The culmination of this year’s Homecoming Weekend festivities at the University of La Verne will help attendees ”get back” to “yesterday” with a concert by Paperback Writer – The Beatles Experience.
The popular act will raise funds for the university’s internationally ranked Speech and Debate team as they prepare to host the 2013 US Universities National Debate Championship.
Ranked as one of the top Beatles tribute bands, PaperBack Writer’s show brings to life scenes from the Ed Sullivan Show and The Beatles’ first full length film “A Hard Day’s Night.”
The tribute band has been praised by the Los Angeles Times and KTLA 5, and has performed at many well-known venues including Caesar’s Palace Hotel Casino and Resort, MGM Grand Hotels, Orange County Fairs and Riverside County Fairs Inc. Additionally, they have played for audiences around the world, including the Caribbean, Japan, South America and Europe.
When: Sunday, October 21st at 2 p.m.
Where: Ann and Steve Morgan Auditorium, located on the University of La Verne’s main campus.
