Psychology Professors Present at Annual Psychology Convention

Three professors from the University of La Verne Psychology Department recently participated in and presented at the American Psychological Association Annual Convention, held July 31 – August 4 in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Rocio Rosales Mesa, Ph.D., Leticia Arrellano-Morales, Ph.D., and Jeanie Li, Ph.D. conducted two symposia at the national event.

Leticia and Rosales presented Latina Resilience and Li chaired a session titled Putting our cards on the table: Addressing the supervision priorities of supervisors and supervisees.

The 2013 APA Annual Convention hosted more than 800 sessions on a full range of psychology topics, including immigration, racism, eating disorders and more.
