June 12, 2014 by University of La Verne

President Devorah Lieberman will be the keynote speaker at Mt. San Antonio College’s 68th Commencement ceremony on Friday, June 13, 2014. Lieberman, who began her higher education trek as a student at Mt. SAC before earning her bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees, will speak on how she walked a similar academic and professional path the Mt. SAC graduating class is on and how that led to her reaching higher goals. The theme of her talk will be on “listening to your head and your heart.”

Prior to delivering her keynote address, Lieberman will visit with one of her former  Mt. SAC professors.

This is the first time Lieberman will give the commencement address at Mt. SAC. In 2000, Lieberman was named the Mt. SAC Alumna of the Year.

Mt. SAC’s commencement begins at 6:00 p.m. at Hilmer Lodge Stadium. For more information, click here.
