Peter Williams is Assistant Professor in the Organizational Leadership doctoral program, where he teaches about teams, learning, and research. He has managed his own consulting practice, has been a program coordinator in correctional education, a dean and director of university distance learning programs, and an ESL teacher in Honduras. Peter continues to consult with organizations about online learning, adult learning, and organizational development issues. He is certified in Texas to teach Spanish, English and ESL. His research has focused on competency models and on self-regulation for online learning. He's been published in journals such as Research in Higher Education, American Journal of Distance Education, and Online Journal of Distance Learning Administration, among others and he is a member of ASTD and AHRD professional organizations. He likes spending time with his wife and three daughters and together they enjoy traveling, reading, writing, walking through the woods, being active in their local church, and eating good food.
