- Dr. Jozef Goetz graduated from the Polytechnic University of Wroclaw, Poland. He was an Assistant and Associate Professor at the Polytechnic University. His Ph.D. dissertation, Optimal Resources Allocation and Operations Scheduling Problems Solution for Computer Systems, received a national recognition from the Minister of Education. Dr. Goetz has a solid teaching and publication record (over 30 papers published in the journals and conference proceedings).
He was fortunate to undertake an innovative endeavor to design, build, and debug the first University Computer Network in all of Poland. Dr. Goetz also has extensive industrial experience - a 12 year tenure as a senior software engineer for Fujitsu in the USA. He specialized there in developing, designing, and implementing client/server communication systems.
In Spring 2000, Dr. Goetz returned back to academia (California State University, Fullerton) and since then has taught the total of 50 courses. Since Fall 2005 he has been an Associate Professor at the University of La Verne. His interests include software engineering, Web Services, e-commerce, WEB development, computer networks, and modeling systems using Petri Nets.
