- Dr. Lisa Rodriguez is the Graduate Success Center Director at the University of La Verne. Lisa brings an array of expertise to the position with eight years of direct experience in instructional media and technology at Pitzer College. While at Pitzer, Lisa directed multiple campus and faculty media projects, initiated the development of smart classrooms, and started the five college multi-media consortia. Lisa also worked in a post-doctoral capacity for the Community College Leadership Development Initiatives (CGU Affiliate) where she was a research analyst and leadership academy facilitator.
In 1998, Lisa co-founded the non-profit organization, The Women's Multimedia Center, which served as an outreach service teach art, technology, and multimedia skills to women in residential parole and substance rehabilitation facilities. Lisa taught English Composition and Study Techniques, both online and face-to-face, in the community colleges for the past four years, and most recently taught English for the Modern Languages department here at ULV. Lisa holds a PhD and MA in Education from the Claremont Graduate University, and a BA in English Literature from California State Polytechnic University.
