Barbara Poling was selected as Associate Dean in February 2008. She earned her doctorate degree (Ed.D.) in Organizational Leadership from the University of LaVerne, her Master of Science in Educational Administration from Redlands University, and her Bachelor of Arts from Cal State Los Angeles.
Barbara Poling served as department and program chair for the Administrative Credential and Doctoral programs for eleven years. She has experience as a K-12 district superintendent, Riverside County Associate Superintendent, California Department of Education Consultant, U.S, Department of Education researcher, secondary and elementary school principal and classroom teacher.
Barbara has served as Rotary Club President, Riverside City Leadership Council President and received awards from ACSA (Association of California School Administrators), Boy Scouts Distinguished Citizen of the Year Award and the U.S. Department of Education National Secondary School Awards. She has serve on a variety of University of La Verne committees.
