Campus Safety, Parking, & Transportation
The University of La Verne prides itself on having a safe and inviting campus that welcomes visitors for an afternoon or students for years of study.
Campus Security
Our Campus Safety department serves as the first responders in emergencies both big and small. They protect people and property, faculty, staff, students and visitors, helping them feel secure. They control traffic at special events, monitor fire alarms, provide escort, and so much more.
Campus Safety Officers are non-sworn, civilian employees who have private person power of arrest. The officers have been trained by, and given the authority by, the La Verne Police Department to issue parking citations for violations of university parking regulations. The Director of Campus Safety has a direct liaison with administrative personnel of the La Verne Police Department and regular meetings are held each month to discuss problems of mutual concern.
Our Security department ensures your time on campus is welcoming and safe.
Campus Parking
Like most small campuses, parking is at a premium at the University of La Verne. Well marked visitor parking as well as public parking in and around downtown ensure we have a place for you during your campus visit.
Review our maps and policies to ensure your arrival to campus is care free.
Transportation
The Campus Safety Department assist the students, faculty, and staff in securing transportation needs for University activities away from Campus.
