About OSC

Office of Strategic Communications

The Office of Strategic Communications (OSC) is a strategic partner with academic and administrative units throughout the University of La Verne. We collaborate with clients across campus by developing integrated print, digital, video, and public relations campaigns. Our aim is to strengthen and unify the University’s messaging, and elevate the University’s image and reputation.

We develop guidelines that uphold the visual and editorial identity of the University, and identify communication opportunities that help our campus partners achieve their goals. All University print, web, photo, and video projects will be designed or approved by OSC. We will work with you to find sources of funding for projects outside of our scope.

OSC is a key unit within Strategic Enrollment Management and Communications, which includes the Office of Admissions, Financial Aid, and Institutional Research, among others. Dr. Homa Shabahang serves as Vice President of Strategic Enrollment Management and Communications.

Creative Talent

Our team is composed of designer, video, photography, and web professionals. We have the expertise to develop compelling, on-message campaigns. We strive to deliver engaging visual and editorial material, both off and online.

Project Management

We have a dedicated team to organize project workflows and coordinate key deadlines throughout the planning and design process. We will work closely with you to make sure your project meets your objectives and is delivered on schedule.

OSC Graphic Design Policy

No member of the University of La Verne Community may design, print or produce, or contract to design, print or produce an official university publication intended for distribution to external audiences (off campus) without the approval of the Office of Strategic Communications (OSC).
