La Verne head football coach Andrew Ankeny consoles quarterback Thomas Arguello after the Leopards' overtime loss to Pomona-Pitzer on Homecoming Saturday, November 6. La Verne rebounded for a 49-23 victory over Whittier the following week in its final game of the season.
