If you\u2019ve taken some college courses in the past, they may count toward your bachelor\u2019s degree at the University of La&nbsp;Verne. As an adult learner, you may be able to transfer credits from a variety of sources, including:<\/p>\n<h2>Credits From Previous College Coursework<\/h2>\n<p>The University of La&nbsp;Verne will accept up to a maximum of 88 transfer credits from a regionally accredited college or university toward a bachelor\u2019s degree and 40 credits toward an associate\u2019s degree.<\/p>\n<h2>Associate Degree for Transfer (ADT)<\/h2>\n<p>If you earned an <a href=\"https:\/\/laverne.edu\/admission\/transfer\/associate-degree-transfer\/\">Associate Degree for Transfer<\/a> (an Associate in Arts for Transfer or an Associate in Science for Transfer) from a California Community College, you may transfer your degree in full to the University of La&nbsp;Verne to satisfy all general education and certain major requirements, excluding the La&nbsp;Verne Experience.<\/p>\n<h2>Apply for a Transfer Admission Guarantee<\/h2>\n<p>If you attended one of the many California Community Colleges that has a <a href=\"https:\/\/laverne.edu\/admission\/transfer\/transfer-admission-guarantee\/\">Transfer Admission Guarantee<\/a> (TAG) with the University of La&nbsp;Verne, you will be guaranteed admission if you meet all of the requirements of the TAG.<\/p>\n<h2>Other Credit Sources<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Advanced Placement (AP)<\/li>\n<li>International Baccalaureate (IB)<\/li>\n<li>General Certificate of Education Advanced-Level (GCE A-Level)<\/li>\n<li>College Level Examination Program (CLEP)<\/li>\n<li>DSST exams<\/li>\n<li>Dual-enrollment and vocational courses you took as a high school student<\/li>\n<li>Military experience<\/li>\n<li>Challenging Exams<\/li>\n<li>Courses that meet American Council on Education\/Program On Noncollegiate Sponsored Instruction (ACE\/PONSI) standards, including military and corporate training<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>After you apply and are admitted, our advisors will review and evaluate all of your coursework, transcripts, and documents to determine how they will be applied toward your degree.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a class=\"btn btn-primary\" href=\"https:\/\/admissions.laverne.edu\/apply\/\">Start my Application<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We know returning to school is a big decision.
