Placement Testing is for  undergraduate students: incoming freshman, continuing (already enrolled) students, and transfer students. Tests are offered for writing, math and foreign languages (Spanish, French, and German). Placement Testing Schedule and Sign Up

Proctored Testing

The Academic Success Center offers test proctoring services for La Verne students and alumni taking distance education courses with other institutions across the United States. Contact your instructor or your institution’s Distance Education administrative offices to determine the method of test delivery and any fees required.

Miller Analogies Test Information

The Academic Success Center currently offers computer based, group testing session for the Miller Analogies Test.

The Miller Analogies Test (MAT) is a high-level test of analytical ability that requires the solution of problems stated as analogies.

The test measures your ability to recognize relationships between ideas, your fluency in the English language, and your general knowledge of the humanities, natural sciences, mathematics, and social sciences.
