Areas of research interest
Past research interests included cellular and molecular basis for memory and neural plasticity in the X. laevis visual system. Present and future research interests include regulation of sleep patterns and its relationship to memory and mood, community-based research in health disparities, and synthetic biology in context of the iGEM (International Genetically Engineered Machine) Foundation.
