Ron Herrera, MBA, PHR, SHRM-CP partners with employers and leads a team of employee benefits professionals focused on reducing healthcare expenditures across the United States. He has extensive experience designing employer strategies that enhance profitability and organizational culture.

Prior to joining McGriff, Ron led Human Resources operations in Vice President and Director roles with multiple organizations. He currently serves as Board Chair of Professionals in Human Resources Association (PIHRA) – North Orange County. He is also a Past Chair of Human Resources for America’s Physician Groups and lecturers for professional organizations and academic institutions.

Ron holds an MBA from the University of La Verne, a BA in Sociology from California State University Fullerton, PHR and SHRM-CP certification, and is a licensed California Life and Health insurance agent.
