University of La Verne’s John Bartelt Ranked No. 9 on National List of Best Professors

John Bartelt, a University of La Verne professor of education technology, has moved into the top 10 of the highest ranked professors from colleges and universities across the U.S., Canada, and the United Kingdom.

The website Rate My Professors released its list in September, ranking Bartelt at No. 9 in its list of best university professors for 2016-2017.

Bartelt, who has taught at the university for 22 years, credits his success to co-teaching courses with his wife, Linda Bartelt.

“It has become so popular that this term we’re co-teaching four completely-packed sections of human sexuality in addition to our other courses, and loving it,” Bartelt said.

Rate My Professors includes ratings of more than 1.7 million professors from colleges and universities.

Bartelt placed at No. 23 on the 2015-2016 list, receiving glowing reviews from his former students.

Many reviewers mention Linda Bartelt.

“John and Linda are the best masterful life teachers you’ll ever know. Hands down, I learned more in this class than all my others combined,” wrote a former student in advanced studies in human development.
