More than 30 students received Juris Doctor degrees during the University of La Verne College of Law’s 2017 Commencement on May 13.<\/p>\n

The school had 35 graduates, with 33 participating in the ceremony at the Sports Science & Athletics Pavilion on the central campus.<\/p>\n

Attorney Darrell Miller, chairman of the entertainment department at Fox Rothschild LLP and managing partner of the Los Angeles office, served as commencement speaker. Miller’s client list includes Angela Bassett, Mariah Carey, and Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, among others.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
