Join us on Sunday\, Nov. 24\, 2024\, at 4:00 pm (doors open at 3:30 pm) for an exciting musical experience! \nFeaturing the timeless works of Bach\, Beach\, Bizet\, Dvořák\, Jenkins\, Rimsky-Korsakov\, and more\, this concert promises to be a truly unforgettable evening\, offering something for everyone to enjoy! \nThe repertoire includes \n\nFinale (mvt IV) from the Symphony No. 9 (“The New World”) –  Dvořák\nFugue in G minor (“Little”) – J.S. Bach\nBal Masque – Amy Beach\nPalladio – Karl Jenkins\nIntermezzo from “Cavalleria Rusticana” – P. Mascagni\nFarandole\, from “L’Arlésienne” – G. Bizet\nDance of the Tumblers\, from “The Snow Maiden” – N. Rimsky-Korsakoff\n\nThe concert will be held in the beautiful Morgan Auditorium\, Founders Hall\, University of La Verne. 1950 Third St\, La Verne\, CA 91750. \nFree admission\, $10 donation appreciated\, Reception follows. \nThe La Verne Symphony Orchestra is a University of La Verne musical ensemble\, established in collaboration with the La Verne community. Student\, Faculty\, Staff and Community musicians join together\, bringing inspiring and uplifting music to our community.
