All updated steps on how to access rosters, overrides, and student information has been updated below.<\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Faculty and Staff Dashboard is your link to student information at the University of LaVerne. Logging in to Faculty and Staff Dashboard allows you to enter a secure area where you can update your current address and telephone number, view your teaching schedule, find your classroom assignments, look up contact information for your students, assign registration overrides for students and enter final grades for all of your classes.<\/p>\n<p>By clicking on the links below, you can view instructions that will walk you through some of the most popular uses of the Faculty and Staff Dashboard system. Please see the Override Appendix to view which override needs to be entered.\u00a0A majority of\u00a0overrides should be entered by the instructor or department. Once the override is entered, be sure to let the student know. The student will then need to register as normal. Entering the override\u00a0<\/span><b><span data-contrast=\"none\">does not<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0register the student\u00a0into the course.<\/span><span Override can be entered by either the course instructor or department chair.<\/span><span><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<h5><b><span data-contrast=\"none\">Closed\/Capacity:<\/span><\/b><\/h5>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">The class is at its maximum enrollment. <\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px\"><span data-contrast=\"none\"><strong>How to Correct: <\/strong>Enter Capacity Override. Co-requisites are set by the department and will need department approval to be overridden.<\/span><span><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<h5><b><span data-contrast=\"none\">Degree restriction<\/span><\/b><\/h5>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">Student selected a course that is not open to students in their degree program (for example, an MBA student trying to register for an MHA course).<\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px\"><span data-contrast=\"none\"><strong>How to Correct: <\/strong>Degree Override from the department chair or regional campus academic advisor in order to eliminate this error.<\/span><\/p>\n<h5><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Duplicate Section<\/span><\/b><\/h5>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px\"><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Student selected a course that is the same subject and course number for the same term.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px\"><span data-contrast=\"none\"><strong>How to Correct: <\/strong>Contact registrar\u2019s office to request an override.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h5><span>\u00a0<\/span><b><span data-contrast=\"none\">Field of Study<\/span><\/b><\/h5>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">Student selected a course that is not a part of their major, minor, or concentration.<\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px\"><span data-contrast=\"none\"><strong>How to Correct: <\/strong>Major Override based on the error statement. Override can be entered by instructor or department holding the course.<\/span><\/p>\n<h5><b><span data-contrast=\"none\">Level Restriction<\/span><\/b><\/h5>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">Student selected a course that is not open for registration at their level (for example, an undergraduate student attempting to register for a master\u2019s level course).<\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px\"><span data-contrast=\"none\"><strong>How to Correct: <\/strong>If they are an undergraduate student; there are certain rules to complete, they should contact their Academic Advisor. If the student also receives the Prerequisite error, this will need to be resolved before adding any linked courses.<\/span><\/p>\n<h5><b><span data-contrast=\"none\">Pre-requisite\/Test Score<\/span><\/b><\/h5>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">Student selected a course for which they have not completed the required prerequisites or have not placed at the level of the course. <\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px\"><span data-contrast=\"none\"><strong>How to Correct: <\/strong>Prerequisite Override can be entered by the instructor.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h5><b><span data-contrast=\"none\">Repeat Count Exceeds 0<\/span><\/b><\/h5>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">Student selected a course
