The Culturally Specific Campus Grant\u00a0 (CSC) is funded by the U.S. Department of Justice through the Office of Violence Against Women (OVW) to provide support services for survivors of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault and stalking (DDVSAS). It also strengthens ULV\u2019s response<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>efforts<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>to these crimes and expands<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>prevention education<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>for <\/span>students, staff and faculty to help stop them before they occur. <\/span>The CSC grant has allowed us to create a Coordinated Community Response Team (CCRT) that <\/span>brings together campus departments and local community partners to prevent and respond <\/span>to DDVSAS.<\/span><\/p>\n

Our CCRT works collaboratively to:<\/span>
\u2022<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Strengthen prevention education and awareness across campus<\/span>
\u2022<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Improve how ULV responds to disclosures and reports of harm<\/span>
\u2022<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Ensure students have access to trauma<\/span>–<\/span>informed, survivor centered support<\/span>
\u2022<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Review and enhance policies, procedures and trainings related to DDVSAS<\/span>
\u2022<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Build strong partnerships with off campus advocacy agencies, law enforcement and legal <\/span>resources<\/span><\/p>\n

Our Mission Statement<\/span><\/h3>\n

The CCRT unites campus and community resources to address and prevent domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault and stalking. Through trauma-informed support and coordinated response, we empower those impacted by violence and promote a safe and responsive campus environment.<\/p>\n
