Interfraternity Council

On behalf of the ULV Greek Community, I would like to welcome you to fraternity recruitment! Each fall and spring, fraternities on campus participate in recruitment periods where they meet and get to know new students, talk about the benefits of fraternity life, and give invitations to potential new members to join their respective groups. Our campus has a rich history of Greek Life involvement and we have two strong national organizations currently on campus.

Our men’s groups are governed by the Interfraternity Council (IFC) and include the organizations: Phi Delta Theta (ΦΔΘ) and Sigma Alpha Epsilon (ΣΑΕ) . Although all Greek organizations are different, they are all centered on the core ideals of leadership, brotherhood, scholarship, social activities and community service.

This website includes fraternity frequently asked questions, facts about Greek life at ULV; including costs, terminology, and information on formal recruitment activities and programs offered to help you find out if being a part of a Greek organization is right for you. We believe that Greek life allows students the opportunity to grow and succeed not only as an individual, but also as a member of an important organization on campus, and we hope that you have an open mind when considering becoming part of our community.
