Leadership Opportunities

The Office of Student Life provides leadership opportunities and services for student learning, community building, and student development. Through these programs, we strive to enhance the educational experiences, quality of life and campus climate of students on campus. We facilitate student growth and development by fostering unique experiences that enhance life-long learning, physical and emotional wellness, ethical decision-making, and multi-cultural appreciation.


Apply to campaign for President/Vice President of ASULV or a Senator position! Advocate for your fellow Leos and work with other student leaders to strengthen the La Verne community.

Future Leaders Scholarship

The ASULV Future Leaders Scholarship (applied to tuition only), created by the student government, recognizes students who pursue leadership opportunities in clubs and organizations on campus.

Students who apply must be considered sophomore class for the school year 2020-2021. Applicants must hold or intend on holding a titled position in a University of La Verne recognized club or organization. Students must also have a minimum semester and cumulative 3.0 GPA upon applying and maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA during the 2020-2021 school year.

Applications will become available in Spring 2020.

Campus Activities Board

Get paid to have fun! The Campus Activities Board (CAB) is looking to hire a group of creative people who want to program student events. There are 3 Executive Board positions and 10 Chairman positions.

Order of Omega

Order of Omega recognizes those fraternity men and women who have attained a high standard of leadership in inter-fraternity activities. It brings together outstanding fraternity men and women to create an organization which will help to mold the sentiment of the institution on questions of local and intercollegiate fraternity affairs.

Orientation Week Leader (OWL)

Apply to be an OWL and help welcome new students to the University of La Verne! OWLs help with SOAR dates during the summer and at New Student Orientation the week before school starts. You’ll work with other Leos to put on fun events for the new students and make new friendships along the way.
