Khalif and Victoria Rasshan Family Scholarship

Support a Legacy Through Education

The Khalif and Victoria Rasshan Family Scholarship will be established to honor the enduring legacy and living impact of two distinguished alumni—educators, cultural stewards, and the owners and curators of a community museum dedicated to preserving history, truth, and collective memory, the African American Museum of Beginnings.

Through decades of service, leadership, and storytelling, Khalif ’73 and Victoria ’74, have ensured that African-American histories and contributions are not only preserved but also actively taught, celebrated, and passed on to future generations. Their work reminds us that museums are not simply places of reflection, but spaces of action, dialogue, and transformation. This scholarship carries that same spirit forward.

By supporting this fund, you are investing in students who embody the values of cultural preservation, community engagement, and public service. Scholarship recipients are empowered to pursue their education while carrying forward a commitment to honoring history, uplifting voices, and creating meaningful change in their communities.

Your gift ensures that this legacy is not only remembered, but lived, taught, and expanded through the next generation of Leopard leaders.
