Congratulations on being hired as an ASC tutor! We’re excited to bring you onto the team. Here are the next steps in the hiring process:
1. Print and complete the ASC signed Job Offer Form, located here.
2. Pick-up a Student Employee Packet from the Office of Human Resources, located at Park Campus/Princeland Properties (Southeast corner of Arrow and Wheeler in the industrial buildings.) 1574 Arrow Hwy, Suite E, La Verne, CA 91750.
3. Turn in the completed Student Employee Packet and the signed Job Offer Form to the Office of Human Resources.
4. Complete the Tutor Information and New Schedule form, located here.
5. Email Donna Williams (dwilliams3@laverne.edu) a selfie and short bio (3 – 5 sentences) for the ASC website.
Things to cover:
- Your major;
- Your class level;
- Why you love your subject;
- Why you want to be a tutor (or why you like tutoring, if you’ve already been a tutor).
- Please include the information above in a short paragraph.
- Be sure to choose a picture you’re comfortable having on the ASC webpage. (See The ASC Tutor page for examples.)
6. Email Donna Williams (dwilliams3@laverne.edu) to let her know that you have completed steps 1 – 5.
