Originally starting college as a Biotechnology major at UCSD I quickly realized that my passion was in physics. After some years of “finding my way” I graduated from CSULB with a BS in Physics, and went back for my Masters in Theoretical Astrophysics–my thesis: Solving Neutron Star Structure using the Enthalpy Method. I graduated in Spring 2019 and had found an internship working for a government contractor in Tyson’s Corner, VA where I worked on a variety of data science and machine learning projects. Afterwards, I interned for a tech consulting company while I worked nights at UPS. Shortly after, I was finding myself with offers to work for the government: The Naval Surface Warfare Center as a Scientist. Although, I may have had an opportunity to continue forward I found myself met with an opportunity at ULV to make a lasting impact.

So, I became a Leo with the intention of creating a data-driven culture of informative insight. I work closely with data and people to flesh out meaningful insights in a systematic fashion. I have experience with Python, SQL, R, AWS services, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure. I also have worked with Docker containers, kubernetes clusters, and VMware for platform-independent solutions to complex problems. As a physicist I’m a master problem-solver with a keen sense for technology. Feel free to connect with me for any data-related needs.
