Issam A. Ghazzawi, Ph.D. is Associate Professor of Management and the Sam Walton Fellow in the College of Business at the University of La Verne. Ghazzawi who has more than 20 years of executive management experience in technology, real estate and environment, specializes in teaching organizational design, organizational theory, organizational behavior, and management. Dr. Ghazzawi has won numerous awards, including Best Presenter Award from the International Business, Finance, and Economics Research Conference (2012); the State of California Assembly Certificate of Recognition (2010) and the Academy of Educational Leadership’s Award for Innovative and Creative Teaching (2009). He is the director of the University of La Verne’s REACH Business Camp, a program that provides under-served yet potentially successful first-generation high school students an opportunity to pursue college in general and business education in particular.

Professor Ghazzawi received his Ph.D. from the University of Pittsburgh and his Masters in Labor and Human Resources (MLHR) from The Ohio State University. He has taught management and organizational studies courses and has over 20 years of executive management experience.
