Professor John Hultman joined the College of Law and Public Service in 1981. He practiced law both full- and part-time for 21 years; his experience includes bankruptcy, business, and personal injury law. He is also a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute.
In 2003, Professor Hultman was named the University-wide Professor of the Year for Graduate Programs. He was the College of Law and Public Service’s Professor of the Year in 1996, 2000, and 2004 and the College’s Alumni of the Year in 1996. In 2013, he received the University of La Verne’s Distinguished Professor of the Year Award.
Professor Hultman has served as a Board of Directors Trustee for the Eastern Bar Association of Los Angeles County and was a member of the Paralegal ABA Advisory Board.
