Alumni Spotlight: Bryant Coronado

Bryant Coronado graduated from the University of La Verne in 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. A U.S. military veteran, Bryant is the owner of Maps Flowers, a growing U.S. – Mexico floral business, and also works in real estate.

Bryant’s professional journey has been shaped by discipline, service, and a. strong entrepreneurial drive. Since graduating from ULV, he has taken a hands-on approach to building his career by identifying opportunities in international business.

He founded a cross-border floral operation that connects flower production in Mexico with customers in the United States, providing accessible, high-quality arrangements while creating jobs and economic opportunities on both sides of the border.

The University of La Verne gave Bryant the foundation and confidence to turn ideas into action. The practical, real-world focus of his coursework, combined with the support of dedicated professors, helped him apply finance, marketing, and operations directly to his businesses.

Bryant is most proud of being self-made and earning national entrepreneurship awards along the way. His advice to future students: “Don’t wait to feel ‘ready,’ start small, take initiative, and let your work ethic be your business plan.”
