Socrates’ Cafe

Join this semester’s Socrates’ Café, The Buddha and an Atheist on What We Owe Each Other and the Planet on November 13th, 4-5 pm in the Hanawalt House, featuring Dr. Dane Sawyer, Instructor, Philosophy and Religious Studies. Dr. Sawyer will discuss what Buddhism, and the existentialist Jean-Paul Sartre have to say about how we arrive at our ethical views and what those views entail about how we should treat each other, what we owe each other, and what we are responsible for in relation to our planet, fellow creatures, and human beings.
