One Community Regional and Online Campuses (ROC) Expansion
ROC is getting back to its roots!
For 50 years, the University of La Verne has served adult learners online and across multiple regional campus locations throughout Southern California. In 1981, the University of La Verne founded its first regional campuses to further improve access and services for students, faculty, and staff across the region.
Now, ROC is expanding its regional reach to encompass the greater needs of the region as one University of La Verne.
ROC is expanding its vision from a campus-only presence to a regionally serving focus.
The ROC regional expansion aims to foster multiple growing locations within each region to provide more reach, support, and educational opportunities for students. By offering more locations in places where they are needed most, the University of La Verne lives within its mission to enhance educational equity and accessibility for all learners.
The results of this transition will create a greater impact on more students and meet them where they are located physically as well as educationally to create a more equitable reach and experiences for all learners.
