Why Complete Your Bachelor’s Degree at La Verne’s Regional Campuses?
The University of La Verne has prioritized adult education for decades. We launched our first programs for adult students in 1969, opened our first regional campus in 1981, and have only grown from there. We believe a quality education should be accessible to all who seek it, and our regional campuses deliver our programs and services directly to you, eliminating the hurdle of commuting to our main campus.
We understand your goals and strive to help you complete your bachelor’s degree:
Sessions Throughout the Year
The traditional semester draws out the length of time it takes to finish your bachelor’s degree. We schedule our programs at your pace by offering 8-week sessions for undergraduate classes at our regional campuses, letting you start at any time.
Flexible Options
Your work schedule changes, as do your day-to-day responsibilities. Our regional campuses factor in all variables adult learners like you face: attend day, evening, and weekend classes to complete your bachelor’s degree on a full- or part-time basis. Unable to attend classes in person? Regional campus students also have the option of enrolling in online courses.

Are you considering or already working in education, criminal justice, information technology, or business? Our regional campuses’ degree programs align with your current or desired career path, building off your existing knowledge while elevating your skills through curricula based on the latest industry trends.
Reflecting our roots in the liberal arts and career-centric approach, our Bachelor of Arts degrees combine a broad-based, comprehensive foundation with key competencies for advancing in the workplace, while our Bachelor of Science degrees utilize a concentrated, skills-based structure.
An Environment to Help You Thrive and Succeed
In 2016, Washington Monthly named the University of La Verne among the top private colleges in California for adult learners. The distinction comes from the ease of transferring credits, program flexibility, and services for guiding adult students along their journey:
- Receive an education from a nationally ranked, fully accredited, nonprofit university designed to benefit you personally and professionally.
- Reach out to a network of over 84,000 alumni to establish connections and grow your career.
- Small class sizes let you get to know your professors and fellow students and invite discussions where everyone can contribute their unique perspective.
- Get professional insights from your instructors, many of whom have a mix of classroom and industry experience.
- Helping guide your educational journey, you’ll be assigned an academic advisor. Each term, you’ll meet to discuss your progress and ensure you’re on track for graduation.
- Transfer previously earned college-level credits toward your degree, reducing the number of classes you’ll have to take and helping you graduate sooner.
Financial aid for adult students
Adult learners attending our regional campuses to earn a bachelor’s degree are eligible for the same state and federal financial aid programs as our traditional undergraduate students. Learn more about applying for financial aid.
