The Office of International Services and Engagement (OISE) specializes in advising international students and scholars, helping them understand and maintain their immigration and visa status, planning orientations, workshops, and other culturally diverse events that help our students thrive while adjusting to American culture and the La Verne community.
International students with an Initial I-20 are allowed to enter the U.S. up to 30 days prior to their program start date. As per federal F-1 visa regulations, international students must maintain full-time units via in-person classes with only one online class per semester allowed.
