The Office of International Services and Engagement (OISE) specializes in advising international students and scholars, helping them understand and maintain their immigration and visa status, planning orientations, workshops, and other culturally diverse events that help our students thrive while adjusting to American culture and the La Verne community.
Questions Regarding the University’s Safe Return Plan Covid-19: International students who are unable to travel to the United States or are in quarantine upon arrival may take classes remotely. International students should discuss details of their class schedule with their advisor, and then send an email from their University of La Verne email account with the message “Remote Learning” to firstname.lastname@example.org before August 1. Individuals returning or coming to campus from outside of the United States must quarantine for 14 days as required by the State Department and recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention before being able to be on campus for face-to-face instruction or activities.
