At least 18 semester hours of general education must meet the Legal Studies Program’s approval. Transfer courses are accepted into this program if approved by the Legal Studies Department. We do not transfer civil procedure, litigation, advanced research and writing or internship courses, or courses over seven years old. Courses transferred must be legal specialty courses as defined by the American Bar Association. Majors must take a minimum of 24 semester hours of upper division LS courses from La Verne.
