Si Hyun Kim

Si Hyun Kim is Professor of Management in the Department of Management and Leadership at
the University of La Verne, whether she teaches a variety of management courses, including
business ethics, organizational behavior, and strategic compensation. She received her Ph.D. in
International Business with a concentration in Management from the University of Texas at El
Paso in 2014.

Dr. Kim received the Dr. Ahmed Ispahani Excellence in Teaching Award in 2019 and the Dr. Jack
Meek Excellence in Research Award in 2017. Her research interests include business ethics,
workplace diversity, entrepreneurship, and international human resource management. Her
scholarly work has been published in leading journals such as the journal of Managerial
Psychology, Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice, Human Resource Management,
International Business Review, Journal of Family Business Strategy, among others.
