Incoming Student Events

Leo Fridays

Leo Fridays are an admitted student event designed to give you an opportunity to further your connection with the University of La Verne by giving you the chance to meet with various university faculty, admission counselors, financial aid staff, current students, and other admitted students.  Families will take a tour of campus, followed by lunch provided by the Office of Undergraduate Admission in the brand new Citrus Dining Hall.  While eating lunch, guests will receive “next step” information and program highlights from financial aid, student accounts, the College of Arts and Sciences, student life, and housing during our mini resource fair.

Spotlight Weekend

Spotlight Weekend (April 6-7) is the University’s main event for admitted students and their families to learn more about the campus and the Leo community. The event includes an overnight stay in the residence halls, food in the dining commons, breakout information sessions, and a fun-filled night planned by our current students. Students who have been admitted with honors will have the opportunity to stay an additional night in the honors living-learning community in the residence halls on April 5 as part of the Honors Retreat @ Spotlight Weekend, where they will learn more about the Honors Program. The Honors Retreat @ Spotlight Weekend is by invitation only.
