More than 45 years ago, the University of La Verne recognized colleges and universities were ignoring the educational needs of adult learners.
Campus Accelerated Program for Adults (CAPA) addresses these needs by offering both full-time and part-time bachelor degree programs that are friendly to the schedules of busy adults. These programs also feature a streamlined admission process.
Online, on-campus, and hybrid course options allow students to create their own flexible schedule. Evening classes meet once a week throughout convenient 8-week sessions. Weekend classes, which meet on Saturdays, are also available.
Students can transfer up to 88 credit hours towards their degree from a variety of sources such as previous college classes, DANTES and CLEP credit-by-examination tests, AP exams, or military service.
CAPA is available year-round, and students also have the ability to change their major at any time. Additional majors are available for those able to attend daytime courses.
