Israel/Palestine Panel Conversation

You are invited to attend the interfaith-led panel, “Israel/Palestine Panel Conversation” on Sunday, April 14, 7 – 8:30 pm in the Ludwick Sacred Space. There is a time for informal gathering and conversation prior to the panel, starting at 6:30 pm.
 
Presenters include:
  • Ahmed Soboh, Chairman, Islamic Shura Council of Southern California, American Palestinian activist
  • Gary Gilbert, Associate Professor of Religious Studies & Director of Jewish Studies Sequence, Claremont McKenna College
  • Andy Winnick, Member of J Street and Jewish Alliance for Justice and Peace. Author of The Impact of Israeli’s Founding Myths on the Prospects for a Two-State Solution
  • Moderator, Zandra Wagoner, University Chaplain
 
The purpose of this event is for education and building understanding and friendship rather than advocating for a particular position. Participants are encouraged to be mindful so that this purpose is achieved. The panel conversation is sponsored by the Inland Valley Interfaith Working Group for Middle East Peace & ULV’s Office of Religious and Spiritual Life.
