6-Day Instructor Led Program
The University of La Verne Department of Extended Learning (LVEL) is offering the 6-day Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certificate program.
The Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certificate program is a virtual live, instructor-led program, designed to give students the skills to utilize the best practices from the Lean Six Sigma structured for improving and sustaining organizational processes, with the advanced skills to execute the DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control), DMADC, and DMEDI methodologies. It utilizes key leadership principles and practices including Change Management, Team Formation and Management, and Critical Decision Making to drive and support related Lean processes.
The learning tools of Lean Six Sigma will enhance the performance of the participant as a valuable leader in the production and distribution of goods and services.
Who Should Attend
Anyone managing, leading, or training teams for successful manufacturing, process development, compliance or reliability processes including as well as Operating System Specialist, Senior IT Project Manager Warehouse Operations Manager, Business Process Analyst, Data Scientist, and Project Engineer, Director, Performance Excellence, and Project Managers.
Completing the Program
Lean Six Sigma learning tools enhance the performance of the participant as a valuable contributor in the production and distribution of goods and services. The program’s delivery approach is based on the premise that the actions of successful organizations are rooted in the principles of Lean Six Sigma, which are characterized by organization-wide commitment to operational efficiency. Each participant receives a package of course materials as well as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certificate from the University of La Verne.

Learn how to manage, lead and execute process-level improvement projects; design implementation plans that help validate improvement options; apply problem-solving and quantifiable tools to an improvement project; collect, analyze, and quantify data that enable process improvements; and eliminate waste and defects by applying Lean and Six Sigma.
