The LGBTQ Affinity Group was formally created in 2014 for faculty, staff and administrators who feel an affinity with the lesbian, gay, bisexual, pansexual, transgender, intersex, asexual, ally, questioning and queer (LGBTQ) communities at the University of La Verne. Broad goals for the group include providing opportunities to socialize, share information and support and be involved in promoting an environment that accepts, values, supports and is safe for members of the LGBTQ communities.
