About the Office of Institutional Research

At the University of La Verne, personnel from different colleges, co-curricular programs, and administrative units work together towards continuously improving programs and services.

The Office of Institutional Research has the primary responsibility of fulfilling institutional level internal and external reporting requirements of the university, conducting institutional level research, and preparing information in support of institutional accountability, academic program reviews, strategic planning, and accreditation. The office also brings together, as needed, data generators from different units who work towards institutional effectiveness across the university. They convene to discuss issues regarding institutional research and assessment.

The Educational Effectiveness Committee, working with the Office of Institutional Research and Assessment, provides feedback to programs and departments regarding the quality of their program reviews.
