The College of Law and Public Service is provisionally accredited by the American Bar Association and has one program. The college and this program go through an annual review process. The review includes a self-study in the following areas: program of legal education, students, faculty, administration, library, facilities, technical resources, finances, and relationship with the university. After submission of the self-study, an on-site ABA team visits the campus, examining the self-study in relationship to the actual activities and facilities, and interviewing key stakeholders: students, faculty, administrators, alumni, members of the California Bench and Bar, Board of Visitors, and university officials.
