Dra. Arellano-Morales is a Professor of Psychology in the Department of Psychology and the interim MFT Program Chair. She earned a B.S in Public Administration from California State University, Dominguez Hills, M.C. in Counseling from Arizona State University, and Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Michigan State University.  Her research interests focus on Latinx health and mental health, shifting among BIPOC women, and multicultural psychology. Dra Arellano-Morales has published 11 peer-reviewed journal articles, six peer-reviewed book chapters, and two books, including Latina/o American health and mental health and Handbook of Chicana/o psychology and mental health.
